The Excel pivot table was correctly created so a PivotTable toolbar displays over the window.
But the nice thing is that you can create the pivot table in Excel, save it as XML, and then use that XML code as a template for your own code.
In this article, I show you how to use one of the more advanced features, pivot tables, as an example of the potential for Excel export.
It then prints the pages for the data, then for the pivot table, then for the footer.
You can then create charts, data pivot tables, and so forth with the new spreadsheet.
To be honest, I don't know why so much XML code is required for the definition of the pivot table.
Figure 2 shows an empty pivot table with the PivotTable toolbar floating over the window.
