The disposition of non-conforming products may be one of the following: rework, scrap (return to vendor).
The Quality Assurance Department chairs the Material Review Board which decides the disposition of the non-conforming materials. The decision may be 'reject and return to vendor', 'rework', 'degrade' or 'scrap'.
